COMMUNITY CREATES REALITY

Our legendary dance floor joins artists and audiences together so that everyone can enjoy a co-created “experience.”  You can dance with a partner, a group, or with yourself. You can take a dance lesson (often for free!), or you can invent your own dance on the spot.  Heck, you are welcome to stand still, if that’s what feels best.  Share the space with like-minded folks, greet them, meet them, step into their shoes and invite them to step into yours. We all gotta keep movin’. That’s living. That’s Ashkenaz!

Our 50th anniversary is coming up in 2023! During that half century (!!!) we have successfully overcome many challenges and adapted to the ever-changing world around us. That’s only because YOU, our supporters, believe deeply in the importance of diversity, tolerance, inclusiveness, and the important role that music and dancing plays in bringing people together and promoting community awareness.
