Jeni Swerdlow leads various community drumming events, and today introduces Kidz BEAT Community Rhythm Celebration. It is much like her circles for all ages (her monthly Community DRUMMM Celebration precedes Kidz BEAT today), but this one is youngster-oriented. Bring the kids and let them discover the fun and excitement of drumming together with other young folk. Swerdlow demonstrates some hand drumming basics, along with easy to master world grooves, and then the drummers are off and playing, discovering the magic of the group experience in musical creation. Swerdlow’s facilitation makes drumming engaging, accessible, and meaningful for all ages and all levels. Come play!
