The music of Barakemi is based in Afro Brazilian traditions and mixed with today's popular styles from Bahia, Brazil and the Bay Area in the US. Barakemi represents unity, peace and strength. Voodoo Cabaret
We bring uplifting and joyous AfroFusion Spirit music inspired by the Orishas and Loas of Santeria and Vodou. The band combines West African rhythms with a keyboards/guitar, bass, dununs, djembe, drum kit and vocals.
