JimBo Trout has been a Bay Area music fixture for the last quarter-century, known for his energetic, fun approach to a wide range of mostly well-known music including bluegrass, old-time Appalachian, western-swing, blues, jug band, cowboy, honky-tonk, early jazz, rock, and more. He plays 5-string banjo, guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and kazoo. Trout’s kids’ music album, “Jam Along with JimBo,” features classic American folk music and bluegrass for children, although it’s also popular with people of all ages. Cats and dogs love it too! The cover art is by late, legendary underground cartoonist Spain Rodriguez (Zap Comics).
