The Ivy Moon All-Stars was born in 2018 as a totally acoustic Cajun group to play a monthly sidewalk gig at the Ivy Moon Restaurant in West Oakland. Without electrification, this band of longtime Bay Area musicians has been able to explore and workshop Louisiana repertoire in the traditional "Back Porch” style. Consisting of Andrew Carriere, Mark Marcin, Tom Stewart and Timothy Orr, the Ivy Moon All-Stars are able to play a vast catalog of traditional Cajun songs in a quiet but compelling way. Marcin and Carriere switch out accordion duties, adding to the fun.
