Earth Day Orisha Celebration and Bembé 

Come join Susana Arenas Pedroso and dance company and OJALÁ, featuring: Carolyn Brandy, Elizabeth Sayre, Michaelle Goerlitz, Regina Wells, Amikaeyla and Jules Hilson in a Celebration of Earth Day!  

There will be a community Bembé for Orisha, the natural powers of the our beautiful planet:  the Crossroads, the Wind, the Rivers, Ocean, Thunder and Lightening and more.  Also  included in the program will be commentary about the attributes of each Orisha as well as instruction in the Congregational Dancing for the Orisha by Susana and her Dance Company.   There will be Drumming, Singing, Dancing, and a Good Time for all as we sing our praises to our natural world, our Earth.

We will be making a Throne (Altar) for the Orisha.  If you would like to bring flowers or fruit to place on the altar, please do.  Wearing white is not mandatory.
