Part and parcel of the Grateful Dead lifestyle is hoarding the recordings of the most memorable shows you’ve attended, and getting a window into the long history of the evolution of the band’s sound. We know you have your favorites... the mediums have changed, but somehow you’ve always had a copy of that one around... 

Come share them with your community on Ashkenaz’s world-class Meyer Sound system! Tonight we’re hosting “Grateful Dead Open Deck Night” where your memories become the DJ. Bring your CDs, tapes, MP3s, mini-discs... shoot, we’ll plug in your DAT! There will be a signup sheet where you can submit your favorite performance (song or continuous jam) and we’ll play it! We will also project psychedelic visualization along with the show date of each recording on our movie screen to go along with your favorite jams!
